Commemorative exhibition medallions

Limited edition collectibles bridge material culture + digital storytelling

CHROMAKAIROS is producing a series of 35 collectible medallions, each featuring imagery from a significant moment in the history of US foreign policy, as part of the forthcoming AMERICA AT 250 initiative by a Washington, DC-based research and advocacy group.

When tapped with a smartphone, each medallion opens directly to its corresponding historical moment in a digital exhibition, where visitors explore what happened, why it mattered then, and how it resonates today.

The series builds community around the shared history presented, while doubling as a fundraising mechanism to support the organization’s work. People can aquire individual medallions for the moments that resonate most with them, or collect the full series in an heirloom limited edition in a numbered wooden box.
